We will be learning about Sustainability. A few trips to off load plastic, paper, glass etc at the recycling centre and a little gardening will help strengthen children's prior knowledge.  Ngongotaha has a great little recycling set up now too - nice and easy for people who live nearby.  Our literacy focus will be persuasive texts and in numeracy we will be learning about shapes (geometry).

Week One Term 2
Mrs Dennis will be teaching in Room 10 for the first week of Term 2.  I have been offered a fantastic opportunity to travel with Mr Tabuteau and some of his workmates.  While I am away I will try to post updates to our class blog and check my emails.
